turquoise waters of Maldives. The extensive programme features

breathtaking ocean views;extra-spacious Beach Pavilions with
an increased living space of 10 m2, some with interconnecting
gates which make them the perfect choice for a family on
vacation; and supremely luxurious Water Bungalows with fresh
new interiors and enlarged bathrooms and living area, offering
endless views of sunrise, sunshine and sunset.
The stunningly designed Baraabaru restaurant which serves fine
Moghul cuisine is fashioned with an outdoor deck that extends
25 metres into the lagoon, providing an exquisite dining
experience perched over water. A brand new contemporary
restaurant, Café Huraa, has two dining pavilions overlooking
the pool and ocean, and a wine cellar that boast of an

become another legendary Four Seasons resort. What has not
changed is the unrivalled, intuitive Four Seasons service. The
unstinting dedication of its staff will continue to create
magical moments to make your stay truly unforgettable.

12 acre private island resort has an exotic village-like feel,
making it perfect for families and couples for whom a social
environment is an important part of the holiday experience.
The Resort comprises 96 thatched beach and water bungalows.

community projects. Kuda Huraa is accessed via a 25-minute
speeedboat transfer from Malé International Airport.
The design of the 96 Beach and Water Bungalows at Four Seasons
Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa draws on the traditions of
generations of craftsmen, with a generous use of timber and
thatch; the result is a refined natural look that complements
the surrounding nature, viewed through floor to ceiling
windows.
The interiors of the accommodations exude a modern tropical
atmosphere, in keeping with the relaxed, rustic feel of the
island. Plasma TV, DVD entertainment system and broadband
internet access are discreetly incorporated for 21st century
convenience.
Each
Beach Pavilion with Pool ( Total 25 units ) comprises
a bedroom and bathroom pavilion and outdoor living area
with 18m2 plunge pool and day-bed set on a white stone
veranda. The bathroom design artfully integrates an
'indoor' bath and shower area with an outdoor courtyard,
which contains a Maldivian openair shower set in the
exotic confines of its own walled garden. The Beach
Pavilions are slightly set back from the beach for
additional privacy yet offer easy access to it. Several
are linked with interconnecting gates & verandas giving
families the option to create a larger, shared compound.
Just steps from the beach, each Beach Bungalow with
Pool (Total 32 units ) comprises a private sanctuary
set within a garden of mature palms and colourful tropical
flowers. The larger-sized bedroom and living and bathroom
pavilion (with open-air shower courtyard) lead to an
extensive outdoor area with an infinity plunge pool (17m2)
and gazebo. The surrounding lush foliage provides maximum
seclusion whilst retaining direct beach access.
With one king-bedded room and one twin-bedded room
positioned off a central living area, the Royal Beach
Villa ( 01 Unit ) epitomises beach-side comfort for
families or those requiring extra space. Adjacent to each
bedroom is a separate dressing area and spacious outdoor
garden shower. The indoor living and dining area opens
onto an enormous outdoor space (256m2) with private
sundeck (149m2), generous infinity-edged pool and gazebo.
The surrounding tropical garden is furnished with a shaded
day-bed and undholi (wooden swing). The Royal Beach Villa
also has its own private stretch of beach with sun lounges
and an additional private gazebo, set overthe water, ideal
for breakfast or sunset drinks.
Built on sturdy columns in the waters of Kuda Huraa’s
tranquil lagoon, the Water Bungalows ( Total 32 units )
are individually constructed with Maldivian thatch,
teak floors and modern tropical furnishings. Each water
bungalow has an entrance lobby and a spacious bedroom with
both day and king-size bed, which faces a glass-panelled
window with unbroken views over the sea. The dressing room
leads to a bathroom, with a bath overlooking the lagoon
and an outdoor courtyard with a Maldivian openair shower.
Guests can also access the bathroom directly from the
deck. Outside, the veranda is angled so it can only be
seen from the sea and is perfect for private sunbathing.
Steps lead down to the lagoon – a natural swimming pool –
and a sea level fresh water shower.
The beautiful Navaranna Water Bungalows ( Total 04
units ) have extensive outdoor living space with
wrap-round views of the sea seen from the interior through
floor to ceiling windows. In addition to the main bedroom
and bathroom (with open-air shower courtyard), a separate
living room with sofa bed and adjoining shower room offers

separate dressing areas, bathrooms and outdoor showers. A
shared living and dining area overlooks the extensive

with sea access and feature shower. The Two-bedroom Water
Bungalows are located adjacent to the small Reef Island,
offering additional privacy and excellent snorkelling
opportunities.

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa’s Island Spa
occupies its own private island, just a minute away from
the resort by dhoni (native Maldivian wooden boat).
Inspired by a Moorish oasis, with a central tented
reception, the island is a tranquil and verdant retreat,
dedicated to physical and mental peace, harmony and
balance. A special emphasis is placed on the healing
elements of the sea and the restorative power of
marine-based nutrients.
The Maldives is known internationally as one of the
world’s best dive destinations with one of the least
exploited marine environments. Hundreds of captivating
dive sites are complemented by excellent visibility – as
deep as 60m with an average around 30m – and near-perfect
weather conditions throughout the year. There is a large
number of excellent dive sites within minutes of the
Resort and transfers are done by specially equipped dive
dhonies. As the Baa Atoll is still new on the
tourist map, most dives are new sights discovered by the
Resort’s dive team and sightings of manta rays,
barracuda, whale sharks and giant turtles are not uncommon.
The Resort operates its own PADI licensed dive centre. An
international team of diving professionals offers courses
