Kuramathi Island Resort hotel Maldives is on Rasdhoo Atoll (North Ari Atoll / Alifu Atoll). The island previously had 3 different hotels running on the island. This was the first island in the Maldives to run 3 hotels in 01 Island / resort. This concept hosted 3 different hotels Kuramathi Village, Kurmathi Cottage & Kuramathi Blue Lagoon on the tourist island Kurmathi until 2008 and were managed separately.
However, due to the high demand, current trend, comments from past clients and the new development concept of the management have decided to run the island resort in a more holiday friendly environment by offering the simple Maldivian style 01 island 01 resort hotel policy. The new Kuramathi is officially said as a four star resort, but it caters almost five star level of service to their clients.

Kuramathi hotel Maldives is located 70 kilometers west from the Male’ International Airport. The island stretches over 1.8km in length and has another kilometer or so of pristine sandbank at the narrow tip of the island. Guest villa accommodations are scattered around the lush gardens, facing secluded areas of the long beaches and about half a kilometer of the island remains completely untouched inviting you to take leisurely walks through the virgin vegetation…
With a total of 290 villa accommodation in nine distinct styles, you are bound to find the perfect villa for you. All villa categories feature Maldivian style natural d?cor and can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and one child.
Maldives Kuramathi hotel also offers you unlimited dining experiences from a variety of restaurants. Fine wines, cold beers and cocktails are available, and many of the bars also offer exciting night-time entertainment.
Malaafaiy, Haruge and Farivalhu Restaurants: These three restaurants offer breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Breakfast is continental with a live cooking station. Lunch is a light affair whilst themed buffets from all around the world are offered for dinner.
The Coffee shop , “Island Coffee Shop”, the seafood restaurant “The Reef”, the Indian restaurant “Tandoor Mahal”, the great thai restaurant “Siam Garden” , the BBQ’s at “Island Barbeque” offers a selection of taste for you to choose.
Also the traditional Italian pizzas at “Palm Court Pizzeria or Gelateria” or a private dinner under the stars on the beach or a drink at evening hours from the bar during entertainment hours will surly make your holiday one that you will cherish forever.
At Kuramathi, the day is not over with the setting of the sun. Six bars around the island offer refreshing drinks, day and night. Daily evening entertainment is available including nights of Karaoke and moonlit discos. Garden Villas (12 Villas) Accommodations:
These villas are simply designed and built in blocks of three, right on the beach with direct access to the pristine blue waters. They provide for an affordable entry level room and feature a king sized bed, attached semi open-air bathroom, shower, hot and cold water, air conditioning, fan, hair dryer, bath and beach towels, bathrobes, ample-sized bathroom amenities, mini bar, in-room safe, IDD telephone, coffee/tea making facilities, flat screen TV with cable, and CD player.
Beach Villas (71 Villas) Accommodation:
The Beach Villas are individual villas scattered around the abundant vegetation on the island, only a few steps away from the beach. In addition to the facilities of Garden Villas, these villas feature king sized four-poster beds, expansive wooden decks at the front featuring inviting daybeds and sun loungers. The Beach Villas also include semi open-air bathrooms with outdoor rainfall shower.
Deluxe Beach Villas (36 Villas) Accommodations:
The Deluxe Beach Villas are sited on prime location at the narrow tip of the island, their decks leading straight to the azure waters. These villas offer open-air bathrooms housing baths with shower, and outdoor rainfall showers. They are also just a few minutes’ walk from the endless stretch of the snake-shaped sandbank that is at the tip the island.
Beach Villas with Jacuzzi (33Villas) Accommodation:
Located amongst the natural gardens of the island, facing the beach, the square-shaped wooden Beach Villas with Jacuzzi are completely dedicated to couples celebrating romance. The spacious bedrooms feature alluring king-sized four poster beds and inviting daybeds, whilst the roomy wooden decks outside provide sun loungers for two. The bathroom is open-air and set amongst a green garden featuring a large deck with sun beds allowing you to take in some sun in the privacy of your own courtyard. A Jacuzzi in the corner just tempts you to cool off after basking in the sun.
Superior Beach Villas with Jacuzzi (35 Villas) Accommodations:
These villas are similar in style to the Beach Villas with Jacuzzi but are round in shape and sited on some of the best beachfront locations of the island, with just a few steps of white sand separating you from the ocean.
Deluxe Beach Villas with Jacuzzi (31 Villas) Accommodation:
The Deluxe Beach Villas with Jacuzzi dot the wide beaches in the middle of the island. These villas feature oversized wooden patios with sun loungers and daybeds, and spacious bedrooms with king four poster beds, iPod docking stations and espresso machines. The large bathroom features bath, twin vanities, shower, and has a vast outdoor area which includes a rainfall shower, sala bed for two, sun loungers and a most tempting Jacuzzi on an elevated platform.
Water Villas (20 Villas) Accommodations:
The Water Villas are built on stilts and sit directly over the lagoon. In addition to the amenities found in beach rooms, the Water Villa features a rainfall shower that gives access to a private deck which in turn lets you step into the aquamarine waters directly. How much closer to the water can you be?
Water Villas with Jacuzzi (50 Villas) Accommodations: -
These magnificent villas are also built on stilts, just a few steps away from the house reef with its colorful myriad of marine life. The villas feature airy bedrooms with king beds offering views of the infinite Indian Ocean, spacious bathrooms with twin vanities and rainfall showers. In addition to the flat screen TVs with cable and CD players found in all villas, these spacious nests also provide docking stations for your iPods and espresso machines. A large deck at the front houses your Jacuzzi. A couple of steps down is your lower deck, with sun loungers and sun umbrella - a wonderful addition to this beautiful villa. Enjoy panoramic views and fiery sunsets with a bubbly drink in hand, with your favorite tunes playing the background.
Honeymoon Beach Villas (2 Villas) Accommodations
Designed for couples celebrating their honeymoon, these large villas are one bedroom villas with a separate living area. Bedrooms feature tempting four poster beds whilst the living areas include inviting sofas and large flat screen TVs, CD players, iPod docking stations and espresso machines. The open-air bathroom is a private sanctuary featuring twin vanities, shower, outdoor rainfall shower, bath and a Jacuzzi for two, all nestled in your own gardens.
