Soneva Fushi, is in the North Baa Atoll region of the Maldives, is the ultimate island experience. Soneva Fushi Resort, the first "Robinson Crusoe" style hideaway in the Maldives, is set on the privately owned, uninhibited, tropical paradise island of Kunfunadhoo. A little off the beaten track, the adventure begins with a thirty-minute seaplane journey from Male'.
The island is 1,400 metres long and 400 metres wide. It is one of the largest islands in Maldives. Apart from the crystal clear waters, white beaches and tropical climate, the island’s unusually rich vegetation offers a unique natural experience. Villas are scattered along the beach and tucked into the lush greenery, providing the ultimate privacy. Soneva Fushi offers just 65 villas, which capture the very essence of a luxurious castaway fantasy. The Jungle Reserve and the two Retreats offer the premier accommodation. Sense by the Beach: Sense by the Beach is a true destination for fine cuisine and wine lovers. The Peruvian and Japanese fusion menu draws heavily on classic Japanese food with South American influences.
Fresh in the Garden: You will traverse organic fruit and herb gardens and then climb broad winding stairs to a rope bridge that spans the banana plantation. Offers a daily changing menu of five choices per course, in which all of the dishes are created from organic produce to ensure a well balanced diet. Lunch sessions are offered for a minimum of six guests. Specially designed dishes encompassing raw and well balanced cuisine are offered for the health-conscious.
Main Bar and So Spiritual: The main bar is an oasis of calm for reading, playing a board game, participating in a relaxed game of snooker, recuperating from a strenuous spa treatment or even a wi-fi hot spot for sending an email. Sense by the Beach- Bar & Pavilion: Me Dhuniye bar sits on the sunset side of the island. It is truly the most idyllic place to watch the sunset behind the blue waters of the Indian Ocean.
Bar(a)bara-Bar: All day drinks and snacks. This bar is situated at the end of Jetty B, overlooking the vibrant reef on the west side of the island. It is simply a dream location for our well traveled Robinson Crusoe… tasteful, indulgent and different.
The Wine Cellar: Soneva Fushi has gained worldwide recognition for its unique selection of wines on this tiny island in the middle of Indian Ocean. Our subterranean wine cellar holds up to seven thousand bottles in climate controlled tranquility.
In Villa Dining: Our entire ‘In Villa’ dining menus are located in the compendiums under the chapters “In Villa Breakfast”, “In Villa a la carte”, “In Villa Beverages” and “In and Out of Villa Dining Experiences”.

Central to the Six Senses Spa is a large reflecting pond and water falls, setting the tone for soul therapy. A refreshing menu of holistic and traditional treatments conducted by highly skilled therapists using all natural products compliments the Six Senses signature journeys in addition to Thai, Balinese and doctor-assisted Ayurvedic and nutritional programmes. Spa programmes are complimented by a complete gym, beachside treatment villas and a Yoga Pavilion for wellness therapies such as yoga and Tai Chi.
Excellent diving opportunities are supported by a professional dive school. A superb eco-journey for families and couples, who often return each year to share memories with people who enjoy the same values. Stay for a week or stay for two, and prepare to be spoiled. The Soleni Dive Centre’s multi-lingual PADI instructors as well as the small dive group sizes ensure that guests of all experience levels get the best service at all times. There are more than 30
tempting dive sites with rich sea life near Soneva Fushi.
The Villas are placed so that your very own stretch of white sand beach is just a few steps away. There is dense vegetation in between each villa creating patios and gardens for secluded enjoyment. A favourite pastime is to lie looking out to sea contemplating the beauty of nature. Each bathroom opens onto a private garden. Soneva Fushi Jungle Reserve (1,710 sq.m.)
The Soneva Fushi Jungle Reserve offers the ultimate in privacy complete with a master bedroom, large living space, massage pavilion and steam room, personal gym, private pool and Tree House. The master bedroom has an open watergarden and the villa can be opened on all sides to enjoy the breeze - or air-conditioned. A footbridge connects to the Spa Villa that comprises a sitting room, a steam-room and shower, as well as massage pavilion. A personal air-conditioned gym is located in an adjacent pavilion. The private pool wraps around the villa in a half-moon free-form shape. The Tree House features a bunk bed and a single bed, a toilet and a slide into the swimming pool.
