Veligandu Island Resort surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of Veligandu, in North Ari Atoll. Transfers are by seaplane, a scenic 15 minute ride from/to the Hulhule International Airport.

Veligandu Island Maldives Beach Resort consists of 74 Rooms, including 54 Jacuzzi Water Villas, 10 Water Villas and 10 Jacuzzi Beach Villas. All rooms feature tropical d?cor, a king size bed, wood floors, private sundeck with furniture, air conditioning, overhead ceiling fan, sitting area with 36 inch flat screen cable TV, DVD Player, broadband Internet connection, stocked mini bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee/espresso machine, IDD telephone, personal safe, spacious bathroom with rain shower, double sinks, bath accessories, hairdryer, nightly turndown service and complimentary use of chaise lounges at the beach and beach towels. Electricity is 220VAC, 50HZ.

Dhonveli Restaurant: The main dining room, with traditional sand floor, serves “all you can eat” buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a variety to please everyone’s taste! There are also ? la carte “options” including Room Service, a Snack Menu at the Bar and Pool, special Beach Dinners.

The Madivaru Restaurant: An "optional" a la carte dinner menu specializing in local seafood, Japanese Wagyu beef and other international favorites.

The Thundi Bar: Located beside the swimming pool with an al fresco timber deck overlooking the lagoon. Enjoy your favorite drinks, magnificent sunsets and a star filled sky.

In Veligandu the divers can enjoy the variety of 20 local dive sites, suitable for beginners to more experienced divers. The sites include thrilling thilas, outside reef sites and channel dives.

Veligandu Spa, over-the-water, provides a tropical spa experience for women and men, focused on wholeness,simplicity, purity and quality. The therapist’s healing energy combined with Asian massage techniques and only chemical free, pure organic compounds follows a natural, holistic, personalized approach to caring for each guest’s health, beauty and well being. Steam Room and Sauna is also available.

Child Policy… Children are welcome in the Jacuzzi Beach Villas. Guests of over 15 years are welcome in the Water Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas.
